Terms of Use
Terms of use for the English Tune-Up app. App stores can link to this page without opening the app.
Agreeing to these terms
English Tune-Up is made by David Weber IT-Solutions, David Weber, Hillstr. 65, 88326 Aulendorf, Germany. When you use the app, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What the app is
English Tune-Up helps you practice English. It has exercises and AI feedback on your writing and speaking. It is a learning tool, not a replacement for a teacher, a test, or professional advice.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16, or the minimum age for digital consent in your country, to use the app on your own. Younger users need a parent or guardian to agree and help.
Your text, audio, and AI feedback
Your text and audio stay yours. You let us process them only to make the feedback you ask for, including with Google Gemini or Google Vertex AI, as the Privacy Policy explains. Do not send illegal content or private data about other people. AI feedback is made by a computer and can be wrong, so use your own judgement.
Fair use
Use the app only for lawful, personal learning. Do not try to break, overload, copy, or get around the app's limits or security, and do not send harmful or abusive content. We can limit or block access to protect the service.
Changes
The app is provided "as is". We may change, pause, or stop features, and we may update these terms. If you keep using the app after an update, you accept the new terms.
No promises and limits
As far as the law allows, the app comes with no warranties, and we are not responsible for indirect or unexpected harm. Your rights under the law, including consumer rights, stay the same.
Law and contact
German law applies, but the consumer protections of your home country still apply where required. For questions about these terms, email hello@englishtuneup.app.
